Burke PLLC is a litigation boutique focusing on complex litigation and class action lawsuits.

Our firm is comprised of experienced and practical litigators who have a passion for our clients' causes. Our history as defense attorneys gives us valuable perspective when pursuing our current law focus of plaintiff's litigation. We handle claims against defense contract companies brought about, in many cases, by whistleblowers to help uncover corporate wrongdoing and protect workers, patients, investors, veterans, taxpayers and families. We want to be a source of protection for those with the courage to stand up against big corporations and hold them accountable. We want to be advocates for those who have lost their voice because corporate greed has stifled it.

One of our most passionate areas of litigation is human rights violations.

We are currently serving as lead counsel in several major lawsuits aimed at holding mercenaries and other defense contractors accountable for their actions abroad:

• We represent Iraqis who were tortured at Abu Ghraib and other prisons in Iraq.
• We represent the families of those allegedly killed by Blackwater mercenaries in Nissor Square on September 16, 2007.
• We also represent the family of another alleged Blackwater victim who was killed on September 9, 2007.
• We represent the family of a woman who was allegedly killed by Unity, an Australian mercenary company.
