Burn Pit Litigation

Along with our co-counsel Motley Rice LLC, we serve as lead MDL counsel in the KBR, Inc., Burn Pit multidistrict litigation, representing military veterans and former service personnel against defense contractors Halliburton and KBR. The defendants filed a motion to dismiss the case, a motion now pending before Judge Roger W. Titus of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. They sought dismissal, arguing that the lawsuits raise separation of powers issues. Susan L. Burke argued the motion on Friday, June 4, 2010, and we anticipate a ruling from the Court in the near future. Read more about details and updates regarding the burn pit lawsuit.
